Florida Orange Juice

Is there anyone that doesn’t love Florida orange juice? If you love orange juice and you live in Brevard County then you probably have heard of Harvey’s Groves.

Harvey’s Groves started out as a little fruit stand on US 1 in Rockledge in 1929 and has grown to become one of the most popular mail order citrus gift shops in the country. And they also operate three retail stores in Brevard County including their original one on US 1 in Rockledge.

What makes Harvey’s Florida orange juice and Florida oranges so famous isn’t the just company, it’s the fruit. The soil on Merritt Island Florida produces some of the best, most tasty oranges anywhere in the world.

There are several oranges groves on Merritt Island and of course many more throughout the Central Florida area, but Harvey’s is world famous. And that is because the Harvey family has made a committment to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. The company is still owned and operated by the Harvey family today.

The Harvey family also promises you that all of the fruit you receive from them and purchase in their stores will be grown on family owned groves, packed in Harvey’s packing houses by family and employees and shipped from their own plants. There isn’t any non-domestic fruit in Harvey’s packages!

Jean and I stop in every year at the Harvey’s located at 1215 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne to get gifts for the family, citrus for ourselves and to get a few free samples of free Florida orange juice. The West Melbourne store is only open in the fall so be sure not to miss it.

If you would like to order over the web, you can visit their store at www.harveysgroves.com
